Air-to-air heat pump:
More technically, the air-to-air heat pump consists of two units. The outdoor unit is placed outside your home (garden, terrace, balcony) this one has the role of storing the calories present in the air. These calories are used to evaporate the refrigerant flowing through the unit through the work of the evaporator.
The indoor unit takes over and takes the calories stored by the refrigerant to put them back in the housing. It is the condenser that will give way to a good diffusion of heat in the air of the housing.
- The coolant recovers calories from the outside air. The temperature of the fluid increases with the energy collected. The fluid then turns into gas and evaporates.
- The compressor, supplied by an electric motor, sucks and compresses the refrigerant. Then, the gaseous fluid is hot.
- The condensation of the refrigerant fluid, allows to transmit the heat inside. The gas returns to the liquid state.
- The regulator lowers the refrigerant pressure and prepares the liquid fluid before evaporation.
Installing an air-to-air heat pump is simple, all you need is:
- A garden or yard to place the outdoor unit. Choose a position that causes the least noise for the neighborhood.
- A location to install the indoor units. The fan coil units are easily installed above the doors.
